It happened again! : ) A few years back Lil Wayne crashed one of our weddings at the National Hotel and now 50 Cent sneaked up on the bride and groom and took photos with them at the lobby of Fontainebleau Miami Beach!
Maressa and Dan. What a fun couple these two are! It was one of those weddings when you can feel love overflowing on the dancefloor. Their enthusiasm for life and joyful energy is so infectious! We had a blast and are so thankful that they chose us as their DJ company.
Color changing uplighting was provided by our sister company Illumene Event Lighting, which really added to the crazy energy in the room. Guests and family simply would not leave the dancefloor : )
Maressa and Dan, we enjoyed every second of your wedding! Cheers to your love, you are amazing.
Miami weddings don’t get much bigger than this! Liquid DJs and our sister company Illumene Event Lighting set the stage for Ultra Music Festival’s headliner Dirty South to spin one of Vizcaya’s largest weddings ever. From running the necessary power by generator to filling the DJ’s technical rider to conceiving and fabricating a custom stage, this was by far the wedding of the year!
Liquid DJs and our sister company Illumene Event Lighting were two sponsors of the “Knot so Typical” vendor only networking event in Miami Beach. Planner Jamie Lipman conceived a surrealistic and advant-garde design that was flawlessly implemented by a selected group of vendors. Shannon and Gregorio (from Liquid DJs) kept a solid groove with a few interruptions by some of the cool guys and girls from the South Florida wedding industry.
Whitney and Jeff planned a super hot wedding on Miami Beach. They picked an exclusive venue (The National Hotel), awesome photographers (Ashley and Phillip from 13:13 Photography) and a cool DJ (DJ LA from Liquid DJs).
Everything was great, Whitney and Jeff got married and the party was getting ready to start when people started screaming, “it’s Weezy!”
You know DJ LA is a cool guy when he calls the W Hotel home base.
Jonathan and Lisa got married in June at the W Fort Lauderdale overlooking the ocean. Once the ceremony was complete, they cocktailed in open air, unaware or what lied just a few floors below them: a room designed for the party of a lifetime and a DJ who would make it all happen. After dinner the guests said goodbye to their tables for good as they filled the dancefloor and made all kind of memories. Want proof? We have photos…
Daniel and Liana celebrated their wedding reception at Casa Casuarina by Barton G (Versace Mansion) in serious style. While club goers were waiting in long lines and the traffic on Ocean Drive was at a virtual standstill, this bride and groom danced the night away with their guests behind the gates of the most coveted address on South Beach while DJ LA ravaged the turntables.
Powerhouse Music packed the main dancefloor in the Donald J. Trump Grand Ballroom at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach. Liquid DJs prepared for the after party just next door in the White and Gold Room, while Mr. Trump had dinner with colleagues just a few feet away. Two hours of club music closed out a perfect day.
When Carlos, the groom, called us, he said that he was planning a “Miami style” wedding. A party where the band would handle the salsa and old school and the DJ would drop mashups of the newest tracks straight out of the clubs. Liquid DJs was definately the pick!
It snowed rose petals, and then we danced!
It’s always exciting when the bride brings most of the energy to the party. Though the celebration was at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, the heat in the room definitely felt like Miami. Meliza and Craig burned up the dancefloor with their closest family and friends and concluded with an exciting hora loca.
